Wim, has your time expired for the use of the program? If not, try to reactive it by re-registering it … see what happens. If it were me? I'd delete the entire program from Control Panel's "Remove/Add Programs" and then reinstall it, with the correct registration number. Maybe a file has become corrupted? Happens in other proggies, why not this one? Have you made an emergency back up disk of the AVG programs you've purchased? You CAN do that, and after you fix this problem, I'd suggest doing that. In the meantime, best of luck! And keep the AVG FREE anti-virus program active OR … download, and use the free Microsoft Security Essentials until you get the AVG programs running correctly, then remove the Securiyt Essentials IF you have the AVG anti-virus. If you only have the TuneUp, then you SHOULD have something to use to keep the viruses, trojans and worms at bay!
I've used the Microsoft free stuff for a long time,and had no problems. But I really wanted the TuneUp … now, if they'd get the bugs outta it, we'd all be happy as clams! Good luck!

I cannot start My Acer Aspire 7720 Z with Vista anymore.
The answer is the AVG tune-up cannot be activated because the user profile-service cannot be started.
How to solve this problem ?
Till yesterday AVG tune-up worked very wel.
Is AVG tune-up itself deactivated ? How can I activate it again ?
