Odd looking AVG UPDATE Popup

After running the update feature in the AVG program, I am repeatedly getting a pop up during other applications that is a very odd looking.  It is an Orange and Black Popup saying my AVG needs an UPDATE.  I have not clicked on this, since I have already run an UPDATE through the AVG program.  Is this different looking (white box with orange and black lettering) Popup legit?  How can I get rid of it?
