Ok, Why the F*** does AVG consume so much CPU?

I regret for the inconvenience caused. Please repair AVG Free Antivirus as mentioned in this article ( http://avgread.me/1BVxDSY ) and follow the below steps to fix the issue:
Open AVG-> Antivirus->Menu->Settings->Troubleshooting->Uncheck "Enable AVG Self Protection Mode" and check the status.

This is an antivirus software you idiots, not some kind of high end game it should not be running at over 50% while idle. What the hell is it even doing om the background.

This is problably the worst antivirus software ever and the company is just as incompentent, spewing out generic "fixes". The only way to "fix" this is to uninstall this POS software and never bother with it ever again. 

AVG is the main virus here. Filled with popups, high CPU usage and lots of other annoying crapware.
It's like they intentionally designed this to slowly kill our PCs.

Oh, and I'm also sick of having to restart my computer every 2 seconds because of your BS
