I ran the update for AVG antivirus free, and an older copy of Forte Agent will now run only minimized, and resists all attempts to bring it up on the screen. It seems to be running, because when I select the icon and close, it asks if I want to purge/compact, etc, the normal agent exit routine.
Running Win7-64. The newer Agent (I run two versions) runs fine.
