Yes, sometimes AVG firewall will block the banking activities, but we have to make sure if the the firewall component is the one that blocks the access.
In order to check that please disable AVG firewall component alone to check if you could access the banking site. Please follow the below steps to disable AVG Firewall:
AVG Internet Security > Menu > Settings > Components > Enhanced Firewall > Toggle the slider to turn on/off the firewall component.
Once you turn off this Firewall component please let us know if you could access the banking website to assist you further.
so my bank is telling me that avg has some firewall settings that will not let the online banking load.
any advice on how to fix this?
