I try to add the path to exeptions but it desapers from the exemption list after a couple of hours.  I even turn off vonurable drivers in settings and it turns itself back on.

We have opted not to uninstall out 3rd party software at it is vitial to our operations.  Since AVG cannot help me with this, we have decided to Remove AVG from all 33 of our workstations and let our subscription expire in August.

Hi
Just as others have stated,  We are using the Atera RMM system and the pop-up keeps on popping up. I turn it off in setting and it turns itself back on. This has been going on for weeks.  Im trying to avoid uninstalling AVG from all 35 PC's that o have it installed on. pop up openhardwaremonitorlib.sys

This isn't the experience we want you to have, George.
We've raised a request (#17785336) on your behalf to our threat labs to further investigate on this. They'll reach you via email at the earliest & help you further.
Thank you in advance!

We understand your concern, GT. Let us attempt to help you through this channel.
Initially, we'd like to clarify that the detection is correct. This might happen if the 3rd party software isn't up to date.
Regarding the detection, it is blocked by Self defense module, which :
- Blocks exploitable drivers from loading into OS kernel memory.
- It is enabled by default. We recommend keeping it enabled.
It detected and blocked an exploitable driver in your system.
Based on the driver name and its path, you might be able to find and uninstall the 3rd-party program that's trying to load this driver. That should solve the problem (reboot might be required).

I try to add the path to exeptions but it desapers from the exemption list after a couple of hours.  I even turn off vonurable drivers in settings and it turns itself back on.

Thank you for providing the screenshot and the information, George.

Hello,

I appreciate you offering support to log into my pc.  The thing is that this is happening on over a dozen PCs that I manage.  It will be impossible to give you access to every PC due to our company security policies.  Can you provide any documentation so I can perform the fix myself?
