Hello, I appreciate your reply. However, my re subscribing to a paid version this has fixed the issue as it was urgent we could click on email links.
I don't remember the whole wording, but it was somehting like 01safe.protection…outlook.com and then said that the action of opening the link had be stopped because of phisfing.
I did contact Microsoft, but they sussed out that it was our AVG. We had decided to use the free version for a while and it was when the subscription run out that the problem began, so there is obviously the free version doesn't like Outlook.com for whatever reason. Cheers
We'd be glad to assist you. Please let us know if you use any email client like Outlook to check your emails or do you login to it using a web browser. Provide a screenshot (http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of the exact error message if you receive any, when trying to open the links in email. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Please also turn off Email and Web shields one by one to verify which component is causing the issue.
Just recently I have updated my computer and since then I have been unable to open links that come in on emails. The only way I can do this is by turning off web & email shield. Has anyone got an answer so that I can open links & keep the shield protection on.
