Actually this is a known issue and could you please let us know whether you have installed our latest 2016 version?
I have followed the instructions to the letter and have totally wasted my time , the end result is that the problem is just as bad as before taking action, feel inclined to scrap computer and AVG.
I have been having trouble opening Internet Explorer for some time and now have found that the only way I can gain access is to dissable AVG, when I do this I can enter without problem, I can the enable AVG and run as normal, anyone else have this problem or can anyone offer a solution.

I have the 2015 2 year version of AVG performance and AVG protection installed, hope you can help
