Opt Out of Ads from AVG?

Hello Paul,
We will help you with it. Many of our users find these offers useful. We handpick them from our own products or those of partners we feel can add to your security or digital experience. Also the frequency of pop ups can be controlled directly from the app or can be even turned off.
Open AVG Internet Security on windows devices -> Menu -> Settings -> General -> Privacy -> Uncheck "Show offers for other AVG products" & "Show offers for third party products".
For mobile devices, contact our Android mobile team using the following link( http://avgclick.me/AVGtechnical ) select as Android in OS field, choose yes for paid version, fill out your details and click email option. AVG mobile team will reply back to you via email.

I regularly receive annoying ads FROM AVG popping up on all my AVG protected devices - Windows 10 Laptops, Android phones, tablets and streaming boxes, etc.  These ads regularly suggest I purchase additional AVG products that I don't want or need (such as their Driver Update Service and their AVG VPN service - I already have a VPN from another vendor.)

Look, I like AVG for protection from viruses and malware, but is there any way I can stop this spam from AVG hitting me in the face every time I use one of my protected devices, short of finding another antivirus software vendor?

Okay, answered own question (with help from a better constructed search of these User Forums than I did before posting my question - Hmmm… lesson learned?)

Seems I'll have to adjust my AVG Promotions setting ON EACH DEVICE.  This appears to be an option for PRO versions only, which is fair - if you're using the free version, then ads are to be expected, after all…

Android: Click the 'sandwich' icon to bring up the app menu> Settings>Notifications and alerts> AVG Promotions> click off

Windows 10: Open AVG Internet Security> Menu> Settings> General> Popups> INFO POPUPS> Set Duration to 0 (zero) seconds (At least, I think that should work - If there's a better way, please let me know!)
