Hi Joe,
I understand this must be annoying.
I suggest you to Revert all the Changes made by AVG PC TuneUp and check if that fixes the issue.
Here is an article with the steps to Revert the Changes made by AVG PC TuneUp: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-revert-changes-done-by-PC-TuneUp
I use the AVG Pctuneup and followed all the suggested options. Now my CD/DVD/Blueray drive is not working correctly. It does not autoplay anymore. Does not ask me what to do with a blank disk anymore. In fact I can not copy any files to a disk through Windows File Explore. I tried reseting autoplay options, I went to Windows 10 Control Panel/Hardware and Sound/Autoplay. Nothing change. I restore the reg changes that Pctuneup made. No change. Any suggestions
I also suggest you disable Turbo Mode and check.
