Thanks for your response and I'm very surprised to hear that the payment has already been paid with my credit card without my approval/consent. What if I don't agree with the payment method?

I would like to know if this is the standard procedure for renewal subscriptions and besides I'm not sure whether this is legal! I hope you will understand my concern and I would appreciate receiving further information about the renewal payment.

Hello all,
Today I received an order confirmation by mail concerning the above but I want to know if the mail is genuine and safe. And I don't understand why Ï'm getting the renewal so soon, my license should expire approx. beginning of September but I can't find the expiration date.

Hello Rosa,
We see from your record that you have been renewed automatically by AVG, the AVG program will renew the products 15 days before the expiration date, so that you will have continuous protection, in case, if there is any transaction error, that can be rectified within this 15 days. Because of this, the automatic renewal happens 15 days prior to expiry date. The email you received is a genuine one from AVG.

Hello Rosa,
Your bill is already been paid to AVG. The card which you used during the purchase purchase of AVG was used for the renewal. So you do not have to pay anything now. You are protected by AVG till 9/2/2017.

We do understand your concern. However, this is the standard procedure for automatic renewal, during your first purchase you could see an option to use automatic renewal and it will be checked by default and thus if you have not unchecked it. You will be enrolled in to automatic renewal and the card which you first used for purchase will be saved and used for the automatic renewal. If you wish to cancel this renewal, you can request for refund from this link https://support.avg.com/RefundForm
