Outlook 2019 Client will not download any email until I disable the email sheild in AVG Free

Hi, My Outlook 2019 Client has stopped downloading emails in August 2022. The only way I have been able to get it to work again is to disable the AVG Email Shield!

I know that you are fully aware of this major issue because there are a lot of people with the same issue as me!

When are you going to fix this issue and push out the fix?

We are really sorry for the inconvenience caused. We can really understand your frustration. We have already collected logs and escalated this issue to development team. They are working on the process of fixing it.  They will fix the issue as soon as possible. Until then, you can follow below steps to use Outlook :

Open AVG Internet Security, and navigate to -> Menu -> Settings -> Basic Protection -> Email Shield -> Untick the "Scan inbound and outbound emails (SMTP)" checkbox.
