Outlook Addin doesn't start on Outlook 2013 startup (Win10)

I'm having problems with the AVG junk filter addin in Outlook 2013 (running on Windows 10 64bit.)k.When I start Outlook the addin doesn't load. I then have to go into settings and enable the COM add-in in order for the junk filter to work. 

However spam messages are marked with [SPAM] so something is happening, and once I have started up the addin clicking on  the subject line of a [SPAM] message moves it into the junk folder correctly.

Any advice, please? Many thanks.
