Outlook email error code 0x800ccc0f

I disabled AVG, then went back to Outlook , system still trying to send 3 messages with same error code. I shut down Outlook, restarted it and Outlook trues to send 3 messages again with same error message: The connection to the server was interrupted.Contact your server administrator or ISP. I did so. They said problem is AVG.

Hello Alex,

I understand the situation. Please disable AVG Program temporarily (Right-click the AVG icon in the system tray next to the clock) and check if Outlook is working fine.

Whenever I open Outlook 2016, it immediately tries to send 3 messages and then eventually fails with the error code 0x800ccc0f. Checking with Microsoft, they say the error is caused by my antivirus program, AVG. Does anyone know how to resolve this? Note: after waiting and receiving the error message, Outlook does process all incoming and outgoing emails.

Alex,

I appreciate your efforts. In this case, please uninstall AVG from the control panel and check if Outlook works fine.

If you face any issues in uninstalling AVG Internet Security from the control panel, run AVG Clear tool mentioned in this article https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product&supportType=home to remove it.
