Hi Santhosh,
Thank you for the swift reply.
This problem does indeed occur on the free version.
There is an error when with send/receive in Outlook, saying it cannot connect to the server. The Outlook error code is 0x800ccc0e.
So it would appear AVG thinks the server is unsafe and does not allow connecting to it. It is set up to use SSL/TLS and other antivirus software I've tried does allow it.
Is it possible to whitelist this server in AVG?
Hi Daniel,
We are sorry to hear this.
We will help you to resolve the issue.
Did you get any error message when you try to send the email?
Are you using the AVG Free version?
Keep us posted.
With the AVG Antivirus enabled I cannot send/receive any emails in my outlook.
After turning off the email shield it works, but when I turn it back on again I once again cannot receive any emails. Outlook goes into offline mode.
How can I fix this?
