Outlook sending duplicate emails

I am experiencing a problem where duplicate emails are being sent when using Outlook 2016. I have AVG Ultimate installed on my computer. I have extended the time-out with the server. And I have made sure that Outlook isn't sending/receiving too often. When I searched online there are several sites that recommend removing virus software integration in Outlook. Is this a real issue? Does the AVG mail scanner create problems when sending email in Outlook? Thanks for any help!

Hello Robin,

This seems to be unusual. We do have an AVG email signature at the bottom of your outgoing emails which is to inform your recipients that the email has been scanned for Malware. This option is enabled by default and applies to your Outlook mail client.

Let's check whether AVG is causing the issue. Please right click on AVG icon under system tray next to clock, click on toggle bar to disable AVG temporarily and check if that fixes the issue.

Keep us updated on the progress.
