Hello Paul
Something seems off with your installs then. Because i have my settings on high cause i am a rather careful person when it becomes to getting infected. Have your tried uninstalling and reinstalling?
Guys it is not any one file. It thinks EVERYTHING I touch is a virus!! This is happening on multiple computers as well. The security is set too high and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the files it is detecting. Examples of this are Steam files and Microsoft Office Installation Files. This is becoming ridiculous and tiresome. I have to add documents and exclude folders to escape the detection's. Is there any way I can lessen this security. It also locks documents when I move them on my network, I can't even move things for usb hard drives or USB sticks on my intranet!! it is really over zealous in it's delivery of what is infected. I need some help or I will have to find another Anti-Virus.

Hi Paul,
I'm sorry to hear this is happening. Please send us samples of detected files http://avgclick.me/reportafalsedetection as well as I'd like to ask you for AVG log files for closer analysis. Please download and run this http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_SysInfo.exe, briefly describe the situation, include link to this conversation and send it. Specialists will contact you on your e-mail after analysis.
Thanks
