We request you to open AVG TuneUp program and then select speed up tile and then choose background and startup programs.
Please check whether word application is put to sleep mode or not.
If yes, please wakeup that application and then check for the issue.

I've problem with reading a g-mail with an attached word document where the Word icon ihas been overwritten by an AVG icon including a comercial for AVG, which I already have- How can I open and read read the document?
