Paid but not showing up on my account

I renewed my subscription online but it still shows up as last payment over 2 years ago. My AVG has now been removed and replaced with the free version. I tried the online chat who spent over an hour on my PC to no avail. They said they had escalated my request to the responsible dept. Still nothing 10 days after I paid. I have been a customer for over 10 yrs and do not understand how this can happen. It looks like the only solution is to ask for my money back and stop using AVG. Not a good business model!
