Richard,
Sorry for the trouble, we appreciate your efforts. When you click on try it free, it should proceed with installation. Here, you have prompted to enter your card details again. We are aware of this issue and need to escalate it to our senior team for further assistance. We have sent you the email instructions to get connected with our technical support team. Please follow those instructions to get in touch with them and you should be able to resolve the issue.
I posted this somewhere else on an old thread but my pc response time has slowed dramatically in recent times. I have heaps of memory and disk space so that shouldn't be a problem. I'm also not aware off any current issues with my service provider network. I tried (but didn't purchase) your Tune-Up module and the cynic in me is wondering if AVG is somehow trying to push me to buy the module (when I get so desperate). What influence are you able to exert over my machine?
Hi Richard,
I apologize for the inconvenience caused, let’s try to fix it together.
I see that you have AVG Secure VPN valid till 2/22/2020. Please Click Here for the activation steps. Once you've logged into the AVG Dashboard with your AVG MyAccount Credentials, please install Secure VPN by following these steps:
1. Double-click the AVG icon on your desktop to open AVG management console (formerly known as AVG Zen).
2. Click the Secure VPN tile to install the program.
3. Click Try it free.
4. Click Yes to confirm installation. Restart your PC, if asked.
5. Click the OFF slider so that it changes to ON. Secure VPN drivers are installed.
Let me know if you experience any difficulties and I will help you with a Remote Service for free.
I've put this aside for a while but back to it now.
I did the 1-3 of your instructions and maybe 4 but the VPN tile is still greyed out.
I've gone through the "Try it for free" process (and supplied my credit card details again, hope I don't get multoiiple charges!). The system tells me to wait a few minutes for the download but nothing changes after more than an hour (I'm NOT on a slow dial up line).
When I check "My Account" it shows VPN but I'm just not getting where I have to go to activate it.
Where is the "OFF slider"? How can I get to that?
Can you post a couple of screenshots so I know I'm looking at the correct thing.
I know I'm not the only one (based on other questions) who doesn't "get it" so maybe instructions could be a bit more explicit?
Thank you. I'm being patient.

I've paid for AVG Secure VPN and the system said it would kick in automatically. It doesn't. So looking at Help it looked like if you signed up for the free trial it would pick up that you hade already paid and install the application. It doesn't. But it does ask for your credit card details again! What is going on? Trying to make it difficult for people?
Richard, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Richard,
It would be helpful if you could provide the screenshot (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot)of the message which comes from AVG PC TuneUp to check and assist further.
Also, check if you have installed the trial version of AVG PC TuneUp on your PC.
