AVG ran a trial period of their upgrade for nearly a month. On August 25/15, with seven days left, I decided to get the upgrade and paid $55.49 for one year via my credit card. As this wasn't downloaded I find myself now using the free version again. I called AVG and was asked to call another number and to make sure my computer was on so one of their staff could help me download the upgrade. However, my home phone is not near my computer so that isn't possible. I tried getting through to the suggested number using my cell phone but I received a recording saying that the number was not assigned (whatever that means). I want my payment refunded because there is no way I can use my landline phone for help in installing the upgrade. What should I do? I had no idea I would have to do the download at the time I made my payment or I would definitely not have bothered. I feel I have been robbed of my $55.49. :-(
