We understand your concern and Lets work together to fix the issue. As per your description it might caused due to some existing AVG traces. In this case Please run the below tools to remove the AVG traces.
AVG Clear: https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe
1.Open tool
2.User Account control - click "Yes"
3.Windows safe mode - click "No" (we cannot recommend use the tool in safe mode, because there is a problem with compatibility)
4.Choose installed version (AVG Free, AVG Internet Security)
5.Click "Uninstall"
6.Click "Restart computer"

Once you finished with above tools please restart the PC and follow the below link to install AVG PC TuneUP-Unlimited

Hi hopefully someone here can help. I spent ages on Monday with online support via Chat, was then transferred to technical department where I was ignored.

Last month I signed up for AVG PC Tuneup after my trial expired. I opted to pay monthly via PayPal.

It worked great until the next month. My payment was taken via PayPal (confirmed via both PayPal, bank statement and receipt email from AVG) but when now attempting to use the full range of PC Tuneup services it states 'This feature is locked. Upgrade now to unlock all features'

As the paid monthly service does not provide you with a licence key I cannot simply just activate or or reinstall.

I am logged in. Have already tried logging out and back in with no difference. Have checked there are no updates either.

Any advice as their technical support seems useless.
