Paid more than once for my AVG product

I paid around AU$120 for a 2 year AVG upgrade. New Licence# - IM2SX CKH9U I3MGR Q2RTY ITOVW GSKO9. Then was advised that my old Licence was still valid until 2018 - Existing Licence# IM3FC QH6BK 4MBHZ QHEZY KEUVZ HYDNA. I request a refund of the overpayment which was made a few days ago. Or should I request my credit card company to stop payment. Also I do not want AVG to automatically debit my credit card each year for a renewed licence. Please advise me when the old licence has expired and I will make my own renewal decisions.
