Paid suscription of AVG Internet Security not recognized

I paid for a year's subscription of AVG Internet Security last month but it still says I have a trial that will expire in the next X number of days.  I've tried tech support - they said I have to uninstall the trial copy and reinstall.  I've done that 3 times and that didn't fix it.  I'm still getting the same warning.  It's now down to 2 days.
