Hello Louise,

I understand that you are unable to activate AVG Password Protection. Please be informed that this application will get auto activated. Open AVG Internet Security installed on your computer and click on "My AVG". From here you can see AVG Password Protection tab, click on the same and check if shows as active. If not, please let us know and we will assist you further.
