Password not working in AVG Antivirus Free, reset for MyAccount, still says its incorrect

Let us uninstall the program using AVG Clear tool and install it again.

Use the following link for downloading the AVG Clear tool https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe

Run the file and when you get AVG clear window loading, you will get a prompt with Yes and No option. Click on "No" and then select "Uninstall" to proceed with the removal.

Restart the PC when the prompt appears and then install AVG Antivirus free as mentioned in this article https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Install-AVG-AntiVirus-Free

Every time I try to access settings on the application, it asks for a password. I reset it because I forgot about it. Now, I enter my new password, and it still says incorrect. I cannot remember the password to the application and need to reset that as well, but I can't. I would try uninstalling and logging back in, but uninstalling requires entering a password.
