Password problems

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Were you using any trial or paid version of AVG PC tuneup previously?

Purchased Ultimate yesterday; created account; had trouble with initial PW and had to change.  Now I Login ok to AVG MyAccount (saved PW), but when I try to start AVG PC Tuneup (at 29%) to "Finish" it asks for PW and doesn't like the same PW used for MyAccount.  ???

We request you to uninstall only AVG PC tuneup from the control panel list of programs and then follow the below mentioned instructions:
1) Open AVG Zen interface
2) At the to of Zen click on the email address and select only "Log out as Admin"
3) Once it is done click on the same place where you had the email address and select only "Leave this Network"
4) Again click on the same place where you had the email address and select only "Log in as Admin" and then enter your my account credentials and click on connect.

Once this is done you will get the protection and performance will installed on the Zen interface and after this you shouldn't be getting this password issue.

Not recently.  I used an AVG product several years ago but cannot recall which.  I do have Advanced System Care 9 installed on this desktop PC.  I note that in “All Programs” list, the following are shown, however:  AVG Protection, AVG PC TuneUp, AVG Zen and AVG Software Website.
 
In Control Panel/Windows Programs & Features installed are shown:  AVG, AVG PC TuneUp, AVG Protection, AVG Web Tuneup.  Perhaps that’s too much information and not germane to the problem.
