Password protection is turned off

Not sure if I am doing this correctly or not. I have 4 PC's all protected with AVG Ultimate, recently renewed subscription for 10 PC's 2 years. Ever since activating the new subscription, Password Protection has been turned off with each new boot of the PC. Here is my original post:

"For me, it didn't start happening until I renewed my subscription…through Amazon…with a new, 2-year subscription to AVG Ultimate. I activated the subscription, which included VPN but the VPN slowed my systems (4 computers) down SO MUCH that I took it back out, along with the "anti-track" program. THIS seems to be when the problem started! I stil have no solution, and have to manually "turn on" the password protection every time I boot a computer. It is a pain in the a**, but I THINK I am still properly protected. I guess I have 2 years to fine out, but if it is still happening by then, I will be looking for a different protection software."
