And I whant my money back your program is a security risk, cant be trusted, ask you to do a lott of unnecesery clicking and you dont sem to fix anything. So where do I turn to get my money back?
Hi Janet,
Initially, please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.
There is an ongoing issue with Password protection & the concerned team is already working on it to fix it shortly.
However, you can be rest assured that the protection level of your computer isn't compromised.
Meanwhile, performing a clean installation is the temporary workaround.
As it isn't recommended to share the product details over this post, we've sent you an email including the reinstallation steps.
Please folllow those steps, restart the computer once after activating to check & let us know if it helps.
I have the latest update. Been with AVG for 10 years but now questioning the worth.
Every day the password is set to off when I check and then I turn back on.
Today not only was Passowrd protection OFF so was my Computer protection! Every time I re-boot AVG tuns off protection. Bug fixed hey? Not with version updates!
And then you expect users to go to all the trouble to remove and re-install, have their licence ready and choose the correct App type to download and re-install? Why not create an App that does all that for us without have to re-set up? I know I'll get the standard re-install answer - oh well.
I have started having this issue since I upgraded to 21.1.3164. Once I go in and manually press the button it says it's on but when the pc boots it comes up as turned off and there are no alerts or indication that anything is wrong until you launch the program from the minimized icon.

I am concerned that my Password Protection under the Hacker Attacks category has switched itself off a couple of times. Does anyone know why this might be please. It really shouldn't do this should it.
