Everyytime I turn on lap top password protection is disabled. How do I correct that error? thanks
Hi Andrew,
We're glad to look into this & help you.
Please let us know the version of AVG (Open AVG - Menu - About).
Also, clarify whether enabling it manutally, keeps the shield active after restart.
Please accept our sincere apologies, Andrew.
This isn't the experience we wanted you to have had.
Let us attempt to clarify this for you.
The current/latest version of AVG Internet Security is (21.1.3164) & as you've mentioned in your previous reply, your AVG Internet Security's program version is (1.0.592). We requested the screenshot because we need to check the program version & interface of your AVG Internet Security.
We've sent an email to your registered email address. Please share us the screenshot as a reply to that email.
Thank you for understanding in advance!
It’s version 1.0.592. Yes it stays activated after manually turning it on. Just every single time I turn on computer it is off and I got message that my passwords for several sites has been compromised. Sort of defeats the purpose of using the app.
That's alright, Andrew.
We've replied to your email and have sent you detailed instructions to fix this issue.
Please check your inbox/spam folders to find the email and use it to get back to us.
