Password Protection off every time I restart

Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience. We certainly understand that this is a disruption. 
I am afraid the only known fix at the moment is to completely reinstall AVG using Clear tool. 
Kindly uninstall AVG using AVG Clear tool (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Uninstall-AVG-software-Clear-Remover) and install it again. 

Every time I restart my windows devices, Password Protection is OFF and has to be turned ON again.
I know this has been raised before, but as a longstanding paying customer why do I have to go through the Uninstall/Install route to fix this problem.
It was caused by AVG update, it should be fixed the in the same manner and NOT expect me to go through multiple devices fixing this.
Please AVG devs, do your job??
