I have purchased the three year subscription of the password protection but it's not showing in my products nor is it highlighted in my list of coverage in my AVG protection dashboard.

I understand your concern.
AVG Password Protection and the version of AVG Internet Security you have installed are using different activation method. So, this product may not get activated properly.
I suggest you to upgrade AVG Internet Security you have to AVG Internet Security Unlimited. This will activate both AVG Internet Security and Password Protection using same method.
I have sent you an email with the link to upgrade to AVG Internet Security Unlimited. Please follow the steps from the email.
The screen shot instructions are of no help to me because i don't have any of that show up in my start up and have no idea how to get into accessories to access paint, etc. The tile for password protection in my AVG is not highlighted to be able to click on it to launch it. All it goes to is to "buy" it. when I click on it.
