I have checked the updates after receiving your reply and they are all updated but it is still automatically switching off when turning off my pc. What next?

Please make sure that your AVG Internet Security has been updated to the latest version (20.10) & check if the issue persists.
If the issue still persists after your AVG Internet Security has been updated to the latest version, please write back to us.

I'm having the same problem since I updated to the latest version. As much as I like AVG, If the problem cannot be fixed, then I'll take my business elsewhere

In order to ensure that all services are running fine, we'd suggest you to perform a clean installation of AVG.
