I have to manually turn on "Password protection" each day.
Can see this has been an issue for a long time for lots of users, but yet STILL no fix? I really do not have the time to go through the whole uninstall and reinstall process.

Please let us know the version of AVG installed on your computer (Open AVG - Menu - About).
However, you can be rest assured that the protection level of your computer isn't compromised.
