Password protection

Judy,
We’d like to understand more about this situation. Hence please share the screenshot of the message that shows to block the app and the screenshot that asks to allow the app. This will help us to assist further.

Password protection pop up says blocked something trying to access passwords on Google Chrome

HOW long must I wait for the pop up to go away? IT JUST sits there blocking me. I clicked on block app and it says blocking...... but still there 15 minutes later wanting me to click ALLOW. What should I click on? Is it AVG I must allow or the app I must block and how long does it take before I can continue?

As I already explained I could do nothing, absolutely nothing visible until I closed the image. It is therefor not there to be photgraped in any way or form so I realise nobody can help. I did not know I needed to photofraph it at least to get help. I misunderstood in thinking that the panel would be people who hsd written the program so apologise for wasting your time here. I also do not know if the PC has been compromised in any way and have no idea how to find out.. I bought the App hoping it would protect me and so far it has worked well, Perhaps somebody will see this who has had the same event and be able to share.

However, we will not be able to provide a correct solution unless we see the popup that you get.
Will you be able to take a picture of AVG popup using a mobile phone and attach the image here?
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Judy, may I know how often does it pop up? I have sent you an email with instructions to get connected with our remote assistance team. Please follow those instructions to get in touch with them to resolve your issue.

Until I closed it on the x in the right hand corner I could do nothing at all as although I could pull up other screens they were behind the pop up that took up the centre of the page and I could not read anything behind it. Thus no screenshot available. Sorry. Needs someone who has had it or knows the program. Message was in effect  "we have protected your passwords and blocked an app trying to access your passwords on Google Chrome"  BLOCK ALLOW

Only 3 choices. (Close window x) No right click nor left click rsponse. Not able to move it nor make it smaller. Red writing on black background. It also gave the path to Google Chrome and in it the word access and .exe at the end. And of course Blocking ..... but no movement whatsoever to indicate something happening.
