We're here to help. This could not be caused by AVG Password Protection. This could be caused due to the PDF file is protected by Ransom ware protection feature in AVG Internet Security.
Open AVG Internet Security, click on Hackers Attack tile and then click 'Open' on Ransom ware protection feature to open its settings.
Once there, click 'Protected folders' and delete all the folders added there. Verify the issue now and check if it is resolved.
Hi
I am trying to Convert a PDF to an excel document. It is saying that it is password protected and to remove the protection before I can do this. Is this problem from the AVG password protection? If so I either need to remove it or find out how I can convert the PDF.
If all else fails I will need to uninstall but cant see where to do this as it is not a separate program in my program list and falls under my AVG internet security.
