LogMeIn is a secure desktop remote tool through which I can access you computer and perform the necessary tasks to fix the issue.
If you still wish do it by yourself, we would like you to uninstall the AVG program using our Clear tool and reinstall it.
For AVG Clear tool, use this link https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe
Run the file and when you get AVG clear window loading, you will get a prompt with Yes and No option. Click on "No" and then select "Uninstall" to proceed with the removal.
Restart the PC when the prompt appears and then install AVG Internet Security again as mentioned in this article https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Install-AVG-Internet-Security
