AVG Internet Security beanstandet, dass die Passwörter im Firefox nicht mittels Passwort gesichert sind. Das stimmt und hat auch seine Richtigkeit: ich verwende einen externen Passwortmanager und im Firefox sind nur ganz ausgewählte Passwörter gesichert, die ggf. auch gehackt werden dürfen.
Wie kann ich die Benachrichtigungen für den fehlenden Passwortschutz abschalten?
Ich finde nur die Möglichkeit ALLE Benachrichtigungen abzuschalten. Das will ich natürlich nicht. Sondern nur genau diese Benachrichtigung.

AVG Password Protection can only protect one browser at a time. By default, AVG Password Protection protects your default browser (provided your default browser is supported). You can change your selected browser at any time. If you do not want to see Firefox notification, you can just change the selected browser from Firefox to google chrome.
Open AVG Password Protection and go to Menu ▸ Settings.
Click the Selected browser tab.
Use the drop down-menu to select either Google Chrome or Firefox. Choose Google chrome.
AVG Password Protection is now protecting the selected browser. You can see the current Selected browser on the main AVG Password Protection screen.
Please try the above steps and let us know if its help.

As we had requested earlier, would you be so kind as to let us know if you receive the 'Password protection is turned off' message at every startup or when you've turned off the Password protection in order to disable the notification regarding Firefox?

We would like to inform you that the AVG Password protection component does have the feature to protect one browser at a time. However, you have to purchase the individual subscription for the AVG Password Protection to disable the selected browser.

- Benachrichtigungen kann ich abschalten, aber nur alle in Gänze. Und das will ich eigentlich nicht.
- Seit ich den AVG-Browser installiert habe, kam keine nervige Benachrichtigung mehr. Mal abwarten, ob sie wieder auftaucht.
- Wo finde ich denn das von Dir beschriebene "unter Fehlerbehebung".
