Pausing a long scan

We regret to inform you that currently 'Pause scan' option is not available in AVG Antivirus. We will consider your feedback. Also, you can submit your feedback from AVG Antivirus by following the below steps, 
1. Open AVG Antivirus
2. Click on the Menu option at the top right corner, then click on Menu -> Help. You can see the option "Submit feedback"

Is there a way to PAUSE a long scan? If there is one I haven't found it.

Sometimes you would want to pause a very long scan to do something that requires the full power of your PC but it seems you can only STOP a scan. Many other anti-virus products have that feeture which seems missing in AVG.
