You need to reactivate your AVG Ultimate using your email address to fix it. It doesn't need license number for activation. Open AVG Antivirus free -> My AVG -> My Subscription -> log out/ remove license and log back in using your email address and password. We are here if you need further help.

I originally installed free version. It keeps asking me for money for updating etc. Just paid £19.99 for new drivers and now asking for licence key so I can download. Paid annual subscription in June. Why do I keep being asked to pay more. Doesn't seem anyway of contacting
Thinking of leaving and finding something else.
