I'm having the same problem! After several chats, support calls, etc. AVG refuses to accept that they are on an international fraudulent list! I've tried with several cards from different banks, and I have had no problems with international purchases yesterday, today, or at all, except with AVG! My subs are about to expire. I'm a financially secure individual (millionaire) and have trusted this software for a long time, until now. I would rather continue using the software; however, as it is now, it's not up to me, it's up to AVG and getting their asses off an international fraud list so loyal customers can continue using the software without these problems!!! The problem is AVG or Digital River (the ones who handle their payments via credit card). Whichever one, this needs to be addressed pronto. Else, a whole lot of folks are about to encounter these same problems I'm dealing with! AVG, GET THIS FIXED ASAP!!!
I'm having the same problem now in 2022. There is nothing wrong with the account I'm trying to use and I don't want to give more bank details so I guess I should just remove AVG from all of my devices and use different anti virus software.
