I have just received notification that AVG have helped themselves to my Paypal account one month ahead of when my yearly subscription is due. I received a reminder about a month ago but have my own system to tell me when it is due. I pay when it is due not before.
I think you will find this is against the consumer protection laws of Australia. I now find that if I cancel now well before my current period is complete I will be locked in for another 13 months.
I now require my payment returned and I will be cancelling my AVG subscription as I am entitled to do under Australian Law.
