PC crashes to blue screen on account login with error unexpected kernal mode trap and avgwfpa.sys

Hello Darren. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. For your information AVG Family Safety program is totally stopped in the AVG Market long before and it cannot be renewed either. Having installed AVG Internet Security 2015 on a brand new laptop, I now find if I try to login to any of the child accounts, the pc will crash with blue screen of death, with the following error, 'unexpected kernal mode trap' and avgwfpa.sys as the problem. I am running Windows 8.1.

I'm going to have to do one of the following, (1) remove AVG, which I've paid for and go for something else or (2) change my child accounts to non-child accounts, which means I lose all the family safety benefits I wanted from them. Neither option is great.

Does anyone know another way round, where I can keep AVG and the child accounts?
