I apologize for the inconvenience. Please click on the "All functions" tab of AVG PC TuneUp & select the "Disable background programs" and enable all the programs. Check if the word files are working fine.

Recently accepted free trial of AVG PC Tune Up in the belief it would speed things up.
It states that it puts Apps to sleep until needed. Well, for me it has killed off all access to my Word Files.
How do I regain access NOW. I hope I don't have to wait until the trial expires?? I this enquiry doesn't work I sure hope all will get back to 'Normal' after the trial.
