Pc taking way longer to shut down with avg installed

Hi, my pc usually takes about 6 seconds to shut down now it takes almost 40seconds to shut down. I have used avg removal tool and I can say for certain it's avg causing the problem. I am using windows 10 64 bit if it.

I dont have AVG PC tuneup installed.

Jay, The procedure in 906b0000000D5KkAAK applies to Windows firewall. You're using AVG IS which has it's own firewall.

Do you still have AVG PC Tuneup installed on your PC? Please restore the changes made by AVG PC Tuneup and check if the issue is resolved.
Follow the instructions below to restore the changes made by the AVG PC TuneUp program :
1. Open AVG PC TuneUp program.
2. Click on the Rescue Center on the right bottom corner.
3. Click on Undo Changes.
4. Select and restore the changes made by the AVG PC TuneUp program.
