Hello Brandur,
We can certainly take a look into this. May I know if you're able to reboot your computer in safe mode?
If yes, please reboot your computer in safe mode, go to control panel > program & features and uninstall the AVG PC TuneUp. After that, you can reboot your computer in normal mode and install AVG TuneUp.

Hi - I ran the PC Tune up on my PC and chose Fix Problem after it asked to reboot/restart. I did that and then the computer started again in Automatic Repair and just continues to go back to that mode again and again (loop) without allowing a normal reboot. I have spent hours trying all the advice I have found online, but not been able to change a thing. Is there anyone on this forum that has had a similar problem and can send some advice?
Brandur, what happens when you try to reboot your PC in safe mode?
Please refer to this article and follow the instructions for your windows version and reboot your PC in safe mode.
Thank you Alok, I am not able to reboot in safe mode as you propose. I have tried multiple times, but it always goes back to this Automatic Repair loop. Rgds., Brandur
