PC Tune up/dashboard

I have just upgraded my AVG to include tune up.  I received info to go to dashboard, Connect menu, then connect and then input my e mail address and password.  This did not appear so I followed instructions on community.  I.e. Click on e mail address and leave this network.  I did this then went into connect and was then asked to look into existing account or enter invitation code.  If I log into exisiting account it just gives me original antivirus free protection and saying trial period for tune up a has expired.  How do I get this to work please?
