The other way of initiating disk defragmentation is from "All Functions" of AVG PC TuneUp dashboard.

I ran PC tune when I first installed and it wanted to defragment the hard drive. I canceled it after about 12 hours. I have tried again and it has now run over 24 hours. does not indicate a percentage complete.
It is a 1 TB western digital drive about 1/3 full. How long should this take?
