I ran the duplicate files/folders section of AVG PC Tune Up yesterday. When I saw it was identifying folders in my DropBox account, most of which were photos of my daughter, I cancelled the action, as these were not duplicates.
Looking today I have noticed the folder has actually been removed from my DropBox account. Why has it done this and what has it done with the folder, as these are the only photos I have of her? I tried restore but I do not have any restore points from yesterday and the folder is not appearing in my DropBox recently deleted files?
I tried that and it did nothing.
I did however contact DropBox as well and they were able to retrieve the folder from their restore system.
It still does not answer the question as to why it deleted a folder, which was not a duplicate, from my DropBox folder, which is not on my hard drive?
