PC TuneUp and MS Office errors

Thank you. I ma hesitant to roll-back all the changes made, so I took care of a few that looked like they might interfere with Office. However, I'm sorry to say I am still having the problems.

I am at my wits end with this problem that began once I installed PC TuneUp and performed the recommended adjustments. I have spent 2 hrs on the phone with AVG and an hour with MicroSoft. AVG says it's a MS issue; MS says it's a registry issue.

The problems are:

  1. Unable to download email attachments that are MS Office files. (I get an error stating that there was a problem communicating with the program. The help prompt indicates that the file is corrupt.) I can preview the files and open them with Google docs, but not download then open in their native MS Office program. I am also able to open pdfs.
  2. I can no longer send documents to OneNote 2013. When I select "print" nothing happens at all.
  3. I routinely get an error message "the application unable to start correctly (0xc000007b) Click OK to close the application." After looking this up, I found that updating the .NET framework file may help. I completed this....no resolution.
This is an incredibly frustrating situation. I use MS Office many times a day and use email to send revisions back and forth. If anyone can offer some insight and help I would greatly appreciate it! I encountered absolutely none of these errors before installing PC TuneUp. I would like to keep the program as it has improved my computer's performance overall....just these errors!!
Thanks!

Hi Hannelore,
Please try revert all changes made by AVG PC TuneUp to make sure it is caused by it.
Thanks
